Executive Chairman

Dr. Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi (CON)

Dr. Taiwo Olayinka Afolabi is a respected business leader and investor who has successfully established diverse businesses, including SAHCO. He is the Chairman of SIFAX Group, a conglomerate with investments in Maritime, Aviation, Logistics, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, and Hospitality.

Aside SAHCO where he serves as the Chairman, his other businesses include Ports & Cargo Handling Services Limited, Sky Capital and Financial Allied International Limited, SIFAX Off Dock Limited, SIFAX Logistics Company Limited, SIFAX Shipping Company Limited, SIFAX Inland Container Terminal Limited and Mac Folly Hospitality Limited (owners of Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja), among others.

He is a graduate of Law from the University of Lagos and holds a Master’s in International Law and Diplomacy and Urban Logistics and Transportation Policy from the University of Lagos.

He is a recipient of the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Order of Niger (CON) and he is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Djibouti in Nigeria.

He is a fellow of various professional institutes, amongst which are: Nigerian Institute of Financial Management (FIFM), Nigerian Institute of Freight Forwarders of Nigeria (NIFFN), Certified Institute of Shipping (CIS), Nigerian Institute of Shipping (NIS), Port & Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria (of which he is also the Chairman), Certified Board of Administrators of Nigeria (CBAN), Institute of Directors, Nigerian Society of Maritime Researchers and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigeria.

Dr. Taiwo Afolabi is a recipient of different honorary doctorate degrees from various universities in Nigeria and abroad, including Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, European American University, Dominica Republic, Commonwealth University, Belize, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Oyo State and from Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State. He is also the Chancellor of Gerar University of Medical Sciences, Imope-Ijebu, Ogun State.

Director

Dr. Babatunde Afolabi

Dr. Babatunde Afolabi is a seasoned expert in Business Development and Information Technology, holding a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada, and an honorary Doctorate in Business Development from the European American University.

His career began with UI/UX development at Kraneum Technology, where he collaborated on new product concepts and mobile application development.

Afolabi further sharpened his technical skills with roles at Sentinel Consulting and Glatec Scientific as a Database and Quality Assurance Analyst. His innovative spirit is reflected in personal projects such as the Chico Robot System and Intellishade Blind System.

Currently, as SAHCO’s Executive Director of Business Development and IT, Afolabi leads initiatives that enhance the company’s digital transformation, streamlining operations, and explore new business opportunities. His strong background in technology, coupled with strategic leadership, allows him to drive forward-thinking solutions that position SAHCO as a leader in the aviation industry.

Director

Mrs. Wunmi Eniola-Jegede

Wunmi Eniola-Jegede is the Group Coordinating Director, bringing over two decades of exceptional expertise in human resources, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. In her current role, she oversees key functions including HR, Administration, and Procurement, driving excellence and operational efficiency across the board.

Prior to this, Eniola-Jegede served as Director of HR, Admin, and Strategic Planning at the Ondo State Development and Investment Promotion Agency (ONDIPA), where she played a pivotal role in shaping strategic policies and driving organizational transformation. Her career journey includes notable positions as HR Consultant to the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service, Revenue Manager at the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service, and HR & Admin Manager at Surveillant Fire Limited, each of which contributed to her deep understanding of public and private sector dynamics.

Eniola-Jegede’s academic credentials are equally impressive. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Ado Ekiti, a Certificate in Business Management from Houston Community College Systems, and an M.A. in Human Resources (with Distinction) from Devry University, Keller Graduate School of Management in Houston, Texas. Her commitment to professional growth is further demonstrated by her membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.

Director

Mrs. Adenike Aboderin (M.Sc, FCIB, FCNA, IAP)

Mrs. Adenike Aboderin is a distinguished finance professional with over two decades of leadership experience spanning both the public and private sectors. Renowned for her expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and policy formulation, she has made significant contributions across industries, including oil & gas, infrastructure, and transport.

Before joining SAHCO, Mrs. Aboderin was Director of Finance and Accounts at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), where she led critical financial operations and budgeting. Her public service roles include the Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Trade and Investments and Chair of the Social Issues Sub-Committee for Nigeria’s 2019 Presidential Transition. In her earlier banking career, she held senior roles at Skye Bank (now Polaris), Citibank Nigeria, and Commerce Bank.

She is a graduate of the University of Lagos. She holds a Master’s in Banking and Finance. She also has a Master’s in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex, and she is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), Association of National Accountants (FCNA), and a certified International Airport professional (IAP).

Managing Director

Olaniyi Adigun

Olaniyi Adigun is a highly accomplished Business Development Consultant and Sales & Marketing professional in the aviation industry, with over 30 years of expertise in passenger, cargo, ground handling activities etc. His extensive experience in maximizing retail opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving exceptional customer service has positioned him as a leader in sales growth and market expansion. With a deep understanding of airline and cargo marketing, he has successfully developed and implemented strategies that has enhanced profitability and customer satisfaction.

Prior to becoming the Managing Director of Sahco Aviation Limited, Olaniyi has held key leadership positions. He grew through the ranks at Skypower Aviation Handling Company Limited (now Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc.) to become an Executive Director in Sales and Marketing. He played a pivotal role in revenue growth and market share expansion. His strategic initiatives led to a significant increase in the company’s annual turnover from N2.4 billion to over N17 billion and a remarkable rise in market share from 17% to 48.5%. He has also been instrumental in strengthening customer retention, achieving an impressive 97% retention rate. His accomplishments also include expanding the clientele base of the company from two to twelve international airlines and driving cargo revenue growth from N50 million to over N712 million monthly.

Olaniyi’s expertise spans sales analysis, team leadership, negotiation, customer service enhancement, and business development. His ability to lead and motivate teams, coupled with a results-driven approach, has consistently delivered outstanding performance in competitive markets.

A seasoned professional with a strong educational background, Olaniyi holds an MBA in Marketing from Lagos State University and a B.Ed in Economics from the University of Port Harcourt. He has also completed various industry-recognized training programs, including IATA Cargo Marketing and Ground Handling Management. His dedication to innovation, market research, and client-focused solutions continues to make him a key figure in the aviation and business development sectors.

Company Secretary and Head of Legal Services

Jesuyemisi Odeyemi

Jesuyemisi Odeyemi is the Group Head of Legal Services and Company Secretary, responsible for overseeing legal affairs across SIFAX Group and providing strategic guidance to its subsidiaries. With a solid background in law, corporate governance, and strategic management, she ensures the group maintains high legal and ethical standards.

Odeyemi holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Ado Ekiti and completed her legal training at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos campus. She began her career as an associate counsel at A. Nwoke & Associates before transitioning to Ajose Adeogun & Associates, gaining a wealth of legal experience.

In 2008, she joined the banking sector, where she was a key contributor to the development of the branch operations system and processes of Wema Bank Plc. This role saw her lead various departments and units in the branch operations network of the bank, including customer service, cash operations, transaction processing and overall branch management. Her leadership and customer-focused approach were key to her success in the banking industry.

After 10 years in the banking industry, she was appointed Group Company Secretary/Director of Public Affairs of Adron Homes & Properties, providing advisory services on corporate governance and legal compliance. Odeyemi is a member of professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Institute of Chartered Secretary and Administrators (ICSA), Institute of Directors (IOD) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), reflecting her dedication to governance and legal excellence.
